No account is required for basic conversions. You get free daily credits as a guest. Creating a free account lets you track conversion history and access higher limits. Pro subscribers get the full feature set including batch processing, priority servers, and AI-powered tools.

Go to the PDF to Word tool from the PDF Tools menu. Upload your PDF by dragging it into the upload area or clicking Select PDF. The converter automatically preserves formatting, tables, images, and text styles. Click Convert, then download your editable .docx file. Works with both text-based and scanned PDFs (OCR).

Open the Video Compressor tool from the Video Tools menu. Upload your video file, select a compression level (Balanced works well for email), and optionally reduce the resolution to 720p. Click Compress. The output MP4 will be significantly smaller while maintaining good visual quality — usually under the 25MB email attachment limit.

Pro subscribers can use batch processing on supported tools — upload multiple files and convert them all in one operation. Free users convert one file at a time. For large batches, the queue system processes files in order and notifies you when each is complete.

This usually happens when the source PDF uses embedded custom fonts not available on your system. Try opening the converted Word file on a device with the original fonts installed, or use the 'Preserve as Image' option for complex layouts. For scanned PDFs, enable OCR processing for better text extraction accuracy.

Large video files (over 500MB) and high-resolution 4K content naturally take longer to process — typically 5-15 minutes. If the progress bar hasn't moved for more than 10 minutes, refresh the page and try again. Pro users get priority server allocation for 3-5x faster processing. Ensure your internet connection is stable during upload.

Transcription accuracy depends heavily on audio quality. For best results: use recordings with minimal background noise, ensure the speaker is close to the microphone, avoid overlapping speakers, and select the correct source language. Our Whisper AI model achieves 95%+ accuracy on clear speech. Consider using our AI Voice enhancement option before transcribing noisy recordings.

Download links expire after 24 hours — if you see an error, try converting again. Check that your browser isn't blocking downloads (look for a blocked download notification in the address bar). Try using a different browser. If you're on a corporate network, your firewall may block file downloads — try on a personal device or contact your IT team.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit/debit cards through Stripe. PayPal is also available for all plans. All transactions are processed securely — we never see or store your full card number.

Go to Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan. Your Pro benefits continue until the end of your current billing period. You can resubscribe at any time to restore Pro access immediately.

We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee for new Pro subscribers. If you're not satisfied within the first 7 days, contact support@fastlyconvert.com for a full refund. After 7 days, we don't offer partial refunds, but you can cancel to prevent future charges.

Go to Account Settings → Billing → Update Payment Method. You can switch between credit card and PayPal, or update your card details. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

You'll revert to the free plan with standard file size limits and daily conversion credits. Your account and conversion history remain intact. Any files you previously converted and downloaded are yours to keep — we don't revoke access to already-downloaded files.

All uploaded files and conversion results are automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours of processing. We use secure deletion methods that overwrite file data. There is no way to recover files after deletion — if you need your converted file, download it promptly after conversion.

Nobody. File processing is fully automated with zero human intervention. Our servers process your file, generate the output, and serve the download link. No employee, contractor, or third party views, accesses, or analyzes your file content. We do not use uploaded files for AI training or any purpose beyond your requested conversion.

Yes. All file uploads and downloads use HTTPS with TLS 1.3 encryption — the same security standard used by banks and healthcare providers. Data in transit cannot be intercepted or read by third parties. Files at rest on our servers are stored in encrypted partitions until automatic deletion.
